I graduated from Johnson State College (now known as Vermont State University – Johnson) with a Bachelors of Science in Wellness and Alternative Medicine and then moved further north, going on to become a naturopathic doctor through the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I spent part of my clinical year of studies in externship and doula training with Your Downtown Doula and am blessed to have stayed on ever since.

My early years in rural North America connected me with the rhythms of nature, so for me naturopathic medicine and birth work could not be any closer to home. Looking after animals and the young has always been second nature for me. I come from an active background and to this day find that physiology and what our bodies can do is incredible given proper nourishment and care, breath, rest, and connection. As a naturopathic doula, you’ll find me helping to facilitate this kind of environment that will help your body do what it was designed to do best!
