Losing part of your family is tragic, but you don’t have to walk the path alone.
An Infant and Pregnancy Loss doula provides companioning support through any type of perinatal loss. This includes but is not limited to:
- Stillbirth (loss after 20 weeks)
Miscarriage (loss before 20 weeks)
Companioning is a type of non-medical care that does not try to change your experience in any way. Your loss doula knows that the grief experience is different for every person and that nothing but your own process will make your loss any easier. We do not try to make it right, but we will make sure that you know your options and help you create memories of your little one that can be cherished for years to come.
Sarah is currently in the process of becoming certified as a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Doula through the Home Hospice Association and Doula Training Canada. Please contact us if you have questions or if we can support you in any way.
